Jason Baier is the founder and president of Fatherhood Forever Foundation, a men's ministry created to promote awareness that men are affected by abortion and to provide men with inspiration and resources for healing. He started this ministry 10 years after losing his own child to abortion. He has shared his testimony at various conferences, pro-life marches, church recovery groups, youth rallies, on television and numberous radio programs. Kevin Burke, MSS/LSW, MEV is a licensed social worker, Co-Founder of Rachel's Vineyard Ministries, a Pastoral Associate of Priests For Life and a lay member of the Missionaries of the Gospel of Life. He is a graduate of The Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work. Kevin's presentations address the effects of abortion on Men/Couples/Families, The Healing Team Model for Clergy, Servant Leadership in Post-Abortion Healing and Marriage and Family Issues.

Kevin is the co-author of Redeeming A Father’s Heart -Men Share Powerful Stories of Abortion Loss and Recovery and soon to be released Sharing The Heart of Christ: Safe and Effective Post Abortion Ministry for Clergy and Counselors co- authored with his wife Theresa Burke and Fr Frank Pavone.

Kevin and Theresa are authors of Grief to Grace-A Retreat for Healing the Wounds of Sexual Abuse and Contemplating the Shroud: Meditations on the Passion and Resurrection of Jesus (Pauline Books and Media).

Kevin participates regularly in radio interviews, has been a guest on EWTN and Fr. Frank Pavone’s program “Gospel of Life” on the Sky Angel Network. He has contributed to and authored articles on post-abortion healing.

Kevin formerly served as the administrator of Mother's Home, a crisis pregnancy residence that provides housing, computer job training and programs for women and their children. Kevin also worked as a clinical social work supervisor for Catholic Social Services in Philadelphia.

Kevin and his wife Theresa have worked together in marriage and family counseling and established Covenant Family Resources, a licensed children and youth agency that supports couples as they build families through adoption. They also spent 15 years working in youth ministry. Their development of high school retreats and youth programs earned them the "Apostle to Youth Award," which recognized their contribution to the spiritual growth of the teenagers in Philadelphia.

Kevin greatest blessing is his wife Theresa and their 5 wonderful children.


Catherine T. Coyle, RN, MSN, Ph.D. earned her doctorate in Developmental Psychology at the University of Wisconsin. She is a registered nurse and holds a master’s degree in clinical psychiatric nursing. She has taught at both Edgewood College and the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Dr. Coyle has developed a healing program for men who have been hurt by abortion and has scientifically documented its effectiveness. She is the author of the book, Men and Abortion: A Path to Healing, which is based on her research and is available from Life Cycle Books. Dr. Coyle serves on the advisory board of the International Forgiveness Institute, is co-director of the Alliance for Post-Abortion Research and Training, and continues to pursue research in the areas of both forgiveness and post-abortion trauma. She has published several papers and given numerous presentations concerning these topics.

Sheila Harper is the Founder and President of SaveOne, an international outreach ministry for men and women suffering in silence after an abortion. She is the author of three books, “SaveOne-A Guide to Emotional Healing after Abortion” which has been translated and distributed in four languages. “SaveOne-The Men’s Study”, and “May I Have This Dance? A Journal through Pregnancy”. SaveOne currently has 91 chapters in America, and 17 international chapters in 8 countries. Sheila has traveled all over the world speaking on the topic of abortion recovery as well as training abortion recovery leaders and facilitators.

Gregory Hasek, MA/MFT, LPC is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Oregon, and a Professor in the Graduate Counseling Program at George Fox University. He is also the Executive Director of a Christian non-profit agency called Misty Mountain Family Counseling Center. They provide individual, premarital and marital counseling out of their office in Portland, Oregon. In addition, they specialize in working with individuals, couples and families who have been affected by sex addiction, pornography and post abortion issues for men and women.

Greg is a frequent and highly requested national speaker. He presents at numerous conferences and workshops across the country on issues related to sex addiction and post abortion issues in men. In 2005, he organized the first ever Men’s Summit in Kansas City, to specifically address how abortion impacts men. Since then he has been involved with others in developing The Men and Abortion Network, which is a national organization with a mission to create both awareness and healing for men who have lost a child due to abortion. Greg also works closely with The Pregnancy Resource Centers of Portland and Oregon Right to Life.

Greg has presented on topics that include: Post Abortion Healing for Couples: A Family Systems Perspective, Unrecognized Post Abortive Grief in Males and the Link to Sexual Addiction, The Secret Destroyer of Marriage: Unresolved Abortion Related Trauma. In addition to speaking, he has published articles and appeared on television programs and radio discussing these issues around the country. His recent work includes studying the impact abortion and sex addiction has on the divorce rate, especially within the church. Greg has also developed a training program to help pastors and church leaders understand the impact abortion has on men and women, and how to create a healing culture within the church.

Bradley Mattes, MBS is the Executive Director and cofounder of Life Issues Institute, internationally headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He is the host of Life Issues, a daily radio commentary on abortion and related issues, which is carried on nearly 600 radio stations across the nation. Mr. Mattes has hosted various half-hour radio programs on topics including: the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, adoption and US Supreme Court vacancies.

He also hosts a new weekly, pro-life TV program called Facing Life Head-On, which is available to over 100 million households across America and throughout Canada.
Mr. Mattes is a frequent international speaker and lecturer on abortion and euthanasia, and works with other countries to establish a pro-life educational and counseling presence.

He has done considerable anecdotal research on the effects of abortion on men, and his writings on this topic have been printed in American and international publications. He has a Master’s degree in Biblical Studies and Biblical Counseling. Mr. Mattes is an adjunct professor at Master's International School of Divinity where he has written and teaches a course on men and abortion.

Mr. Mattes is a veteran of the pro-life cause, with over 32 years of educational, political and humanitarian experience.

Rev. Scott Miller is a pastor and street mission director. He has seen the love of Jesus Christ lead  post-abortive fathers through the emotional brokenness that can accompany this experience to a place of reconciliation with God, oneself, and others. His doctoral thesis has been on this subject and he speaks from personal experience.

Jim Pye began pro-life ministry in 2000 when he joined the staff of his local pregnancy center as Director of Men's Ministry. As part of that outreach to men he began taking men through abortion recovery programs. As the local men's ministry grew Jim recognized that other centers around the country were interested in developing their own men's ministry programs. In 2002 he founded Maximum Impact Ministries to help these pregnancy centers implement their own outreach to young men and post abortion fathers. He developed the Maximum Impact Seminar and authored an accompanying manual and has now trained over a dozen other centers over the past six years. Jim has published several articles related to men's ministry in the context of pregnancy center ministry for At The Center and Heartlink magazines. He has also written for Today's Christian Preacher. Jim is also quoted and referenced in mom, dad, I'm pregnant by Jayne Schooler. He has presented workshops for CareNet and Heartbeat International, and was a keynote speaker for the joint Heartbeat International/ Life International conference in Kiev in 2005. Jim presented the foundational material that would become the Maximum Impact Seminar for the Executive Roundtable conference sponsored by CareNet and Heartbeat International in 2004 and has served as the main speaker for several pregnancy center banquets. He has been featured on local and national radio programs dealing with men and abortion. Jim later became the Executive Director for his center until leaving to start a new business and devote more time to Maximum Impact Ministries. Jim earned his BS from Texas A&M University and a Masters degree in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. He holds a Graduate Teacher's Diploma from the Evangelical Training Association and is a licensed minister as well. Jim lives in College Station, Texas with his wife and son and is a licensed massage therapist. He continues to serve pregnancy centers and churches through Maximum Impact Ministries.

Vincent M. Rue, Ph.D. is the Co-Director of the Institute for Pregnancy Loss in Jacksonville, Florida, an independent non-profit research & treatment center. Dr. Rue received his Ph.D. in Child Development & Family Relations from the University of North Carolina in 1975. For 30 years Dr. Rue has been a practicing psychotherapist and has served on the faculty of California State University at Los Angeles and United States International University in San Diego. In 1981 Dr. Rue provided the first clinical evidence of postabortion trauma, identifying this psychological condition as "Postabortion Syndrome" in testimony before the U.S. Congress. He first wrote about abortion and men in 1984 and has treated numerous men and women who have experienced abortion as traumatic. Currently Dr. Rue serves as a litigation consultant assisting numerous offices of the state Attorneys General in abortion & family related statutory challenges. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress and a Member of the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. He has lectured throughout the United States, and has also presented in North and South America, Europe and Asia. Dr. Rue has authored one book and numerous professional journal articles on the topic of postabortion trauma and has been the principal investigator of the International Pregnancy Loss Research Project.

David A. Wemhoff, J.D. is an attorney at law, and has been actively involved in the pro-life movement for more than eight years. He has contributed to the National Right to Life News, and has spoken and written about the impact of abortion on men and fathers as well as how to build a culture of life. Mr. Wemhoff co-presented a seminar entitled “Lost Fatherhood and the Male Response to Abortion” for the National Right to Life Convention in 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007.

Mr. Wemhoff along with Kevin Burke and Marvin Stockwell assembled and edited a book concerning men and abortion entitled Redeeming A Father’s Heart: Men Share Powerful Stories of Abortion Loss and Recovery (Authorhouse 2007). This work contains the stories of ten men whose lives have been touched by abortion, and how they came to healing.

Mr. Wemhoff is the co-founder and President of Truth Helps, Inc., sponsor of www.groundpickle.com, an innovative Internet outreach to young men and women who may be faced with crisis situations. He is also the founder of Presence Media, Inc., which is dedicated to advancing the Faith especially as it can inform and shape society for the better.

As an adjunct faculty member at Tri-State University and Indiana University-South Bend, Mr. Wemhoff instructs on subjects such as American History, Government, American Constitutional Law Development, State and Local Government, and Criminal Procedure. Mr. Wemhoff resides just outside of South Bend, Indiana.


Warren Williams has a BA in Psychology and an MBA from the University of Colorado. He and his wife founded Real Choices Pregnancy Care Center, a regional center in Boulder County CO. He founded Fathers & Brothers Ministries International, to help men heal from the loss of their fatherhood by abortion. Warren facilitates group bible studies and training for facilitators who minister to Fathers who have lost one or more children by abortion. He is a Charter Member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, and a Charter Member of the Men and Abortion Network (M.A.N.)

He is a published author: Fatherhood Lost Suggested Guidelines in Leading a Bible Study (a training manual for facilitators of Men’s Recovery Groups), and a Bible Study entitled: Missing Arrows for use to facilitate grief, restoration and growth after lost fatherhood. He has been a Presenter at many national conferences and seminars including Care Net, Promise Keepers, PACE, Healing Visions, Caring to Love, and Focus on the Family, and Restoring Fatherhood—An inaugural international Conference to bring awareness and healing to Grieving Fatherhood Lost.
